Let me begin by saying, Rod has been my lawyer for the last 16 months. I'm a single mom and first visited with Rod while I was 7 months pregnant. When my little one was two weeks old, I was served custody papers from my sons dad. It was emotional to say the least. Rod remained so calm and told me, "I...t's okay, kid. Please don't worry. I'll let you know if you ever have anything to worry about. I promise." Although I can't promise I never did worry, it was truthfully much easier to manage with Rod as my attorney. Throughout this whole process, Rod has been fantastic to work with. He's always given me a clear idea of what to expect and what he thinks are the different scenarios that may play out. I've appreciated the fact that he's always given me various options/outcomes and then let me choose the course that I want to go. I've felt very involved in my case and that he's always been on top of where things are at! One thing I've learned is that Rod has been doing this for a long time (my entire life!) and really knows what he's talking about. He's seen it all! Even though my case was likely very uncomplicated (even though I felt it was) in comparison to other cases where there may be divorce and dissolution of assets, Rod alllllways listened intently and made me feel like I was genuinely very important. To know he placed so much focus on my case, with my kid thats the center of my life, meant a lot to me. He worked really hard to keep my case from going to trial and when opposing counsel would go low, he'd go high. He'd rest his responses on facts and lean into those so that opposing counsel couldn't ever get him worked up. I was referred to Mr. Jensen by a good friend. First meeting i knew that he was the one i wanted to represent me. I hired him, paid the retainer and he and his staff, Carol (who is amazing also) kept in close contact, fixed everything that i needed with my divorce case. I had a sub standard attorney ...previously and Mr. Jensen was amazing, got the job done and got what i wanted all along to move back to where we belonged.
