I hired Cortney for divorce. Her initial consultation gave me complete confidence she would handle the process very well. She was very thorough in collecting and organizing all the necessary facts. She kept me informed of upcoming steps so I could prepare. The mediation process took only one sess...ion. Cortney managed the negotiation very well because she was totally prepared and represented my goals perfectly. She organized all the data so she could make immediate computations during mediation. The judgement was approved within two weeks after mediation.

Courtney represented me in my collaborative divorce. In spite of the name, it was a very contentious and drawn-out process. Every step of the way, Cortney was thorough, professional and attentive to my needs. She did an outstanding job. I was referred to her by the Collaborative Law Institute of ...Minnesota. I am not giving 5 stars only because the collaborative process was so expensive, involving many hours of billed time, not only from lawyers but also from the financial advisor, the mediator and the psychologist (child advocate). Cortney's opinion is that time and money spent on the collaborative process up front reduces time going back to court post-decree. We shall see.

I don't suppose anyone sees Ms. Whitehouse with a happy case, but she made my situation better by always lending a kind ear while I droned on, far too long for most people.
