This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority.
This means the attorney lost his or her license to practice law for a period of time. The attorney typically returns to practicing law when the suspension expires.
Reprimand/probation means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The State gives the lawyer a public reprimand in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior. The State also monitors the lawyer's activities for a period of time in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

When you have been married for 32 years it is hard to think of divorce let alone go through it. Where do you start? How does the process of divorce work? Shannon Fitzpatrick was an answer to my prayers. She is very caring, trustworthy, knowledgable, and dedicated. Shannon helped me to understand the divorce process, my rights, and how to move on with my head held high.

Ms. Fitzpatrick's care of my case has been professional and compassionate from the very beginning. She has worked to address my needs, concerns and questions promptly via phone, email and physical presence when needed. She has helped me not only with her own professional expertise and experience but has also connected me to other valuable resources to helped me move more skillfully and confidently through a very difficult time in my life. I value her calm, caring and firm direction as she works to help me make sure I am being treated justly by myself and others. All that plus a terrific sense of humor!
