Scott William Ducharme

I have been researching Scotty Ducharme as a potential attorney to hire. During that process, I have encountered some information in his professional biography that I have not been able to verify. One particular concern is his claim that he is, or has been, a professor or adjunct professor at Mitc...hell Hamline School of Law. I contacted the school directly, and they were unable to confirm that he is or has been employed there in any professorial capacity. I have also asked Mr. Ducharme to provide documentation confirming this role, but he has not provided any verification. In addition, there are several other statements in his biography that I have been unable to independently verify. After reading other reviews about his poor communication, missed deadlines, lack of professionalism and attention to detail I will not be hiring him.

I had a terrible experience with attorney Scotty. Communication was poor, and I often felt ignored when I needed updates or clarification. Deadlines were missed, and I never felt like my case was a priority. His lack of professionalism and attention to detail caused unnecessary stress and delays. I w...ould not recommend him to anyone looking for reliable legal representation.

Scotty is by far the worst the attorney I’ve ever worked with or heard of . If whatever you are hiring him for is important to you , do yourself a favor and seek counsel elsewhere. He’s lazy , non supportive and doesn’t communicate well at all !!! Often times it really felt as if he was working for t...he other side . DO NOT USE HIM AS YOUR ATTORNEY!!!

Was just informed this guy left (got fired, I hope) the practice I hired for my divorce. I have been in this process for over 5 months and I've spoken to him twice, and the second time he spoke in the most condescending manner, for simply asking questions and where we were as I heard nothing for two ...months. As a strong independent woman coming out of a 23 year long marriage where I was treated poorly and often was spoken to in similar ways, the red flags were strong and numerous for him. He did not feel safe to me at all (not in a physical way, only met via Zoom, but he was just...icky...didn't feel like I was speaking with my representation, but the opposing council. As a 48 year old woman, I have never been spoken to in a professional setting like this in my life. I don't know what he has going on, but he is clearly an unhappy and unstable person.

Scotty is great. I felt much safer in the court room when he was with there with me. I was lucky to have him help me. He is very likeable and the other Attorneys, Judges, and Social Workers all seem to like him as well. He is very knowledgable in procedure and exceptionally smart in Juvenile and Fa...mily Court. My guess would be those areas are his true passion. It's hard to find a likeable attorney. That is one thing that can only make your case better.
