I would give this man 0 stars if I could. I went from no criminal history, to getting a gross misdemeanor. That got aggravated to a felony. Well, I was a single father, did the right thing and just tried to take accountability and went through all the right steps myself without being ordered to. ...Got my kids back, went to treatment, had treatment, CPS and others write letters and testify on my behalf. Joel assured me from beginning to end that I would not go to prison, I would get a stay because there was Noone more amenable to probation then I was. Told me not to hire any other counsel, assured me once more at sentencing that I wasnt going to prison. And then it happened, I got sentenced to 36 months for residue on a plate as a first time offender... Well I swallowed my pride, took it on the chin, and politely asked the judge for 24 hours to find my children a foster home.. which I was granted and I djd... Then I come to find out that this man starts working for the people that he just faced in court for my case that he absolutely bombed (state record sentence in terms of crime, criminal history and how severe) So, Joel.. im sure you never had another thought about me again, I was just a casualty or stepping stone, but just know that you irreparably caused turmoil in not only my life, but my children's lives..
