Amber Sue Johnson

I reached out to Amber Johnson, Esq. to handle a complex criminal defense legal matter this year (2017). On top of dealing with this case, I had mountains of work, civic, and educational obligations that were weighing on my mind and demanding quite a bit of time. My case was eventually dismissed, in large part to her legal approach. The prosecuting attorney made a point to come out in the hallway, where Amber and I were debriefing after court; to let me know that my case was resolved in the manner that is was in large part to how Amber’s court room demeanor, specifically how she interacted with the prosecution and the judge in this matter. I would add that Amber is an extraordinarily bright, emotionally intelligent, and strong attorney who never wavered in my defense; she can certainly be tough if necessary as it relates to defending her clients. She possess the uncanny ability to read a situation, the individuals involved, and adjust her approach to meet the needs of her clients without allowing emotions to dictate her behavior that may have a negative impact on her clientele or her professional reputation. I was arrested for a drug charge a have never before been involved in the 'system.' I had no idea what to expect. I called a lot of lawyers before I hired Amber and right away I knew she would treat me like a person and not just another paycheck. Even though I knew she was super busy, she always took... the time to answer my questions and make sure I understood everything. Amber helped me so much during a horrible time in my life! The prosecutor wanted to through me in jail, but with Amber's help, I was able to get into treatment and stay out of jail. If I'm successful, I won't even have the charge on my record! I have been sober for 8 months and have been able to keep my job. and I owe it to Amber.

I contacted a number of Attorney's, the day I spoke to Amber. She was the first one I spoke to, that was honest with me, and gave me the information I was looking for. This was my third DWI, so I needed help. I was having trouble getting my Vehicle, and my personal thing's as well. The Police Depart...ment was not returning my calls. Amber made one call, and set thing's up for me, to get my Vehicle and thing's back. She kept in touch with me, through out the process, and answered my question's, clearly and with knowledge of the process. I planned on going to court, more than just the first hearing, but after Amber spoke to the Prosecuter, and got me the deal I wanted, I was happy with the outcome. No Jail time, and minimal fine's. The best is yet to come. We agreed on a Her fee, and I paid Her 1/2 up front. She informed me, a couple day's after my court date, that She was waving the remainder of the fee, we agreed upon. WOW!!
