Karim G El-Ghazzawy

I have only good things to say about Karim and his Office. Karim represented me in obtaining an emergency parenting time order and in further parenting time issues that arose after my divorce. A different attorney represented me during my divorce, but if I could go back in time, I would definitel...y choose Karim. Karim and his staff are very knowledgeable, ethical, and professional. They are also efficient at providing high quality work. His office went a lot easier on billing time than my previous attorney’s office did. Karim was very understanding of my stressful situation and showed genuine concern and compassion. He made himself available when he was needed and always communicated respectfully and promptly. I really appreciate the work Karim did for me and am pleased with the results. I highly recommend Karim.

Karim charged me close to $40,000 for my divorce and custody hearing and did pretty much nothing. He did not prepare me for any of the court hearings or mediation meetings. He did not have any strategy and did not explain the law and what to expect. The only thing he said was to say positive thing...s and that did not work at all. I do not believe he knows the law well and he does not know what arguments the court expects to hear. he is the worst attorney.

I hired Karim for my divorce and also a legal custody court hearing. He is a really bad attorney, who charges more than $400/hr. He did not prepare me for my SENE meeting and sent his assistant with me to the meeting, who was useless. As a result of that, I lost the battle for physical custody. K...arim did never explain the procedures and the reasoning behind what he was doing. I suspect he himself had no clue. He was also useless in the legal custody hearing and he lost the case. The loss of my legal custody had a significant negative impact on my kids, which I have to deal with for many years to come. I paid Karim close to $50,000 and I can comfortably say I would have done a better job myself if I was representing myself.

By the time I hired Karim I had already spent 20,000 dollars and four years trying to reach an equitable custody agreement with my son's mother. Karim settled the matter, in my favor, in less than a month and a half. He contacted me at each step in the process and kept me updated. He and his staff... were not only supportive and professional, but downright friendly. Finally, Karim contacted me when the case was over to tell me that he had not exhausted my retainer and would be returning the remaining money back to me. I was shocked. He literally settled the matter for less that 1/20th the cost and 1/20th the time of my last lawyer. I would highly recommend him.
