Excellent Immigration Law Firm - Great Service
Our family is incredibly thankful to Alan and his entire law firm for their hard work throughout my case. When I was first looking for an competent immigration attorney back in 2009, I wasn’t sure where to turn and I chose Alan based on the excellent reviews online . I am glad and extremely thankful that we went with Alan. Throughout the timeline of my immigration journey, everyone at his law firm was kind, patient, and informative. I cannot thank them enough for their assistance, time, and effort. I wish Alan and his team continued success and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an experienced immigration law firm.

Excellent service
Alan is very professional, kind and knowledgeable. He helped me and my family obtain H1b, EADs and eventually permanent residence. He’ll instruct you well and support you up to interviews with USCIS. We thank him from the bottom of our hearts. Highly recommended.

if I could give Alan a rating of 10 out of 5 stars, I would happily do it. Alan is very knowledgeable in his field and very well organized. I wish, Ihad a chance to work him much earlier.

H-1b petition was successfully approved with his great help.
I am a public high school math teacher in Minnesota. This year, I filed H-1b petition through the school district and the petition was approved in October. I was in the process of changing employer so my case was very complicated and timely manner. However, Mr. Alan Goldfarb was able to solve every sophisticated situation including unexpected circumstance with his professional expertise and excellent insight for immigrant law interpretation. Especially, he is very straight forward, precise, and fast when it comes to preparing relevant documentation and filing the petition. With his great help and guidance, I was able to make it to the H-1b status this year. I trust him in every respect and expect him to help me next time when I need to process H-1b extension or whatever it is with my visa issue. I have no doubt that he is the best attorney ever. I sincerely want to recommend you to process visa issue with him. I am sure that this is the best way you can get right visa status to stay in USA with legal status.

Very responsive and helpful Attorney
Mr. Goldfarb represented me in my immigration case. My experiences with previous immigration lawyers have been frustrating for the most part (with some exceptions) - I've come away from those experiences feeling like these attorneys have more important cases than mine. My experience with Mr. Goldfarb has been a markedly different one. The key positives are that he is proactive with your case, keeps you informed about proceedings before you have to ask him and has no problems spending time with you to answer your questions and concerns. He is also very reasonable with pricing and does not nickel and dime you. I've also found that he takes a practical approach when he talks to you - in an industry where it's easy to to just throw the book at you, he has been open to discussing different options and approaches and think about problems from the client's side. I will go back to him for my immigration needs in a heart beat.

Polite, Dependable and Trustworthy
Alan is very patient in answering all the questions you would have during a permanent residency process, we also had him renew my H1-B visa several times under special cases. Although mine was randomly selected for audit, Alan provided sound advice on how to handle it and handled it well. Although Alan is hired by my company I always felt that he is working for my best interest too. Alan is always approachable and would take time to listen your concerns and address it. Like the title suggest Alan is Polite, Dependable and Trustworthy!

My Experience with Aln Goldfarb
Attorney Alan Goldfarb worked on Permanent Residency case and di an amazing job. From the beginning to the end. Always quick to respond emails and phone calls and kept me informed the whole time. If it wasn't for him I would have lost my petition because he found a discrepancy on my documents and thank to him and his team I was able to fix it. I highly recommend Attorney Alan Goldfarb and his team.

Thorough and knowledgable
He is very thorough. I had applied for EB1 green card. Alan put in lot of effort and submitted such a through I-140application that it got approved without any RFEs. Just for comparison, other's who filed EB1 (B) s from India during this time period invariably had RFEs (USCIS policy). Alan is very prompt and responsive. He followed up with USCIS and got responses from them (which is typically hard to do).

OPT to H1B to Green Card
Alan helped me through the process of getting my OPT converted to a Green Card. The process took 7 years or so and during this period, Alan has been very helpful in answering any questions I had in lingo that was understood by me. He also did that very promptly with patience. I always sensed genuineness in his desire to help me and be as comfortable as I could with the entire process. I really appreciate every bit of help he provided and recommend him for all the services that he specializes in.

H1B, Greencard Application
I read other reviews about Alan before I write my own, and not surprisingly, those words could have been written by myself. Above all, Alan is a good human being, who understands the agony involved in having to deal with immigration issues for foreign nationals whose careers are in the US, but need to travel abroad a lot for family emergencies and business. He would warn me in advance for potential problems with my visa and gently prompt me to apply for an appropriate document in time for travel. Alan was responsible for my H1B application and renewal, and handled my greencard application. During the 5 years while my greencard application was pending, I changed my job and left Minneapolis. I was very happy to find out that I did not need to switch to another lawyer, so I continued with Alan. I have had many email exchanges and several phone conversations with Alan at different stages of my application, and he has always responded in a timely fashion with precise information. I have never had to worry about any part of the procedure or guess where things stand. Now that my immigration issue is fully resolved, I can devote all my energy to my work. For that, I am truly grateful for Alan's help. In addition, Alan's professionalism is something that I can learn from.

Alan’s first-rate work resulted in our goal of permanent residency.
Alan was recommend to my wife and I by a leading Minneapolis law firm. He was unfailingly polite and patient as he led us through the permanent residency procedures for my Japanese wife. After a minor hiccup with the government during the review process, Alan stepped in and immediately took action to rectify the problem, ultimately resulting in my wife being granted permanent residency. I strongly recommend him, and found his rates and payment options to be very reasonable.

My Green Card: EB1, I-140, I-485, etc.!
Alan took very good care of my change of status application (EB-1), was very systematic in building our case and relentless in making sure all the necessary evidence was there. He was uniquely efficient in keeping in touch with me and updating me in record time on all and every development in my case. We had some challenging moments since my claim to the EB-1 status was based on a very specialized activity within the music and academic industries, one that took a fair ammount of familiarity with both fields to properly understand and efficiently explain and defend before the USCIS. But he clearly made the most out of all the materials and extensive and rather boring and technical explanations I made available to him, since after one Request for Additional Evidence from the USCIS, my petition was approved without further ado. On a personal level, I would like to point out his seemingly endless cool to deal with everything - a quality I am notoriously devoid of, and that, in his case, is certainly a priceless professional assett. Also, it is important to note that he took personal care of the communication with the client: if a call of mine was picked by an intern, he would personally return it, usually within minutes, and olways the same day.

Professional Immigration Lawyer in a True Sense
He is a professional immigration lawyer in a true sense (not just by credentials like many others) who always stands by people, not profit or personal interest. While it is so easy to find immigration lawyers whose primary agenda is to squeeze money out of their clients, he is absolutely one of a kind - who has a right mind and attitude as a legal professional. I really appreciated his responsiveness, knowledge, and flexibility to get things done quickly and effectively for my green card. I will definitely recommend him to anyone who will need legal supports in immigration, as I'm certain they will enjoy the professionalism he will provide.

Great professional lawyer with a sincere desire to help and see through all details to the end.
Alan has been really courteous, professional, patient and understanding. He walks through all scenarios and doesn't mind answering hard questions via telephone, e-mail or in person. He is always available which was a critical part for me. His knowledge on immigration is really amazing which keeps me sleeping well at night knowing i am in good hands. Rates are definitely market competitive as well. Totally recommend him to anyone that needs assistance with immigration related matters.

"I have known Alan for several years and have appreciated the opportunity to collaborate informally on occasion during that time. He has an outstanding reputation among immigration lawyers, for knowledge of the law, diligence, and integrity. He has a diverse practice - I know he handles complex employment-based matters like J-1 waivers for physicians and also works with a wide range of issues for employers, like H-1Bs and L-1s and labor certifications. He also works on family-based immigration and removal proceedings. He and his law partner Michael Davis have a very successful I-601 waiver practice for Mexicans. I endorse this lawyer."
