Excellent Immigration Law Firm - Great Service

Our family is incredibly thankful to Alan and his entire law firm for their hard work throughout my case. When I was first looking for an competent immigration attorney back in 2009, I wasn’t sure where to turn and I chose Alan based on the excellent reviews online . I am glad and extremely thankful... that we went with Alan. Throughout the timeline of my immigration journey, everyone at his law firm was kind, patient, and informative. I cannot thank them enough for their assistance, time, and effort. I wish Alan and his team continued success and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an experienced immigration law firm.

Very responsive and helpful Attorney

Mr. Goldfarb represented me in my immigration case. My experiences with previous immigration lawyers have been frustrating for the most part (with some exceptions) - I've come away from those experiences feeling like these attorneys have more important cases than mine. My experience with Mr. Goldfarb... has been a markedly different one. The key positives are that he is proactive with your case, keeps you informed about proceedings before you have to ask him and has no problems spending time with you to answer your questions and concerns. He is also very reasonable with pricing and does not nickel and dime you. I've also found that he takes a practical approach when he talks to you - in an industry where it's easy to to just throw the book at you, he has been open to discussing different options and approaches and think about problems from the client's side. I will go back to him for my immigration needs in a heart beat.

Polite, Dependable and Trustworthy

Alan is very patient in answering all the questions you would have during a permanent residency process, we also had him renew my H1-B visa several times under special cases. Although mine was randomly selected for audit, Alan provided sound advice on how to handle it and handled it well. Although Al...an is hired by my company I always felt that he is working for my best interest too. Alan is always approachable and would take time to listen your concerns and address it. Like the title suggest Alan is Polite, Dependable and Trustworthy!

OPT to H1B to Green Card

Alan helped me through the process of getting my OPT converted to a Green Card. The process took 7 years or so and during this period, Alan has been very helpful in answering any questions I had in lingo that was understood by me. He also did that very promptly with patience. I always sensed genuinen...ess in his desire to help me and be as comfortable as I could with the entire process. I really appreciate every bit of help he provided and recommend him for all the services that he specializes in.

H1B, Greencard Application

I read other reviews about Alan before I write my own, and not surprisingly, those words could have been written by myself. Above all, Alan is a good human being, who understands the agony involved in having to deal with immigration issues for foreign nationals whose careers are in the US, but ne...ed to travel abroad a lot for family emergencies and business. He would warn me in advance for potential problems with my visa and gently prompt me to apply for an appropriate document in time for travel. Alan was responsible for my H1B application and renewal, and handled my greencard application. During the 5 years while my greencard application was pending, I changed my job and left Minneapolis. I was very happy to find out that I did not need to switch to another lawyer, so I continued with Alan. I have had many email exchanges and several phone conversations with Alan at different stages of my application, and he has always responded in a timely fashion with precise information. I have never had to worry about any part of the procedure or guess where things stand. Now that my immigration issue is fully resolved, I can devote all my energy to my work. For that, I am truly grateful for Alan's help. In addition, Alan's professionalism is something that I can learn from.

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"I have known Alan for several years and have appreciated the opportunity to collaborate informally on occasion during that time. He has an outstanding reputation among immigration lawyers, for knowledge of the law, diligence, and integrity. He has a diverse practice - I know he handles complex employment-based matters like J-1 waivers for physicians and also works with a wide range of issues for employers, like H-1Bs and L-1s and labor certifications. He also works on family-based immigration and removal proceedings. He and his law partner Michael Davis have a very successful I-601 waiver practice for Mexicans. I endorse this lawyer."
