After one initial hiring meeting, he refused to meet with us to go over the already prepared trial documents and witness statements. Made factual errors in common with opposing attorneys and hurt our case. Charged us thousands for work we told him we did not want him to do. We feel after many thou...sand of $ of his fees paid he has lost he case for us.....and treated us disrespectfully in the process

I found Steven to be more worried about his image than in winning cases. He refused to ask the questions I wanted answered and we ended up losing the case. A case which could have been a slam dunk. When it came to knowledge of laws and/or general knowledge I found him to be lacking. He consistent...ly dismissed my requests and was, therefore, unable to meet my expectations. I hired Steve Coon the day before I had to be in court. He met me at the courthouse and spoke with me. When we went to the judge, he asked to schedule the next court date for a future date because I just hired him. There was no other court date because he was able to drop the charges by speaking with... the prosecutor.
