Lis Margrethe Carlson

Ms Carlson is an amazing lawyer. I don't know what I would have done without her. She got me an amazing deal. I was being charged with a felony theft and that would impact my career and I was having a hard time getting a job in housing because of depending charge. Because of her experience and her kn...owledge and knowing how the judge in this matter works and how the prosecutor in this matter works, she was able to get me a misdemeanor disorderly conduct with a Steve adjudication with one year probation in $100 fine. It's quite the deal. I don't know what I would have done without her. I was going to take it to trial but because I was able to get this deal you can't beat that. I recommend her to anybody any day she's amazing. My case was in Anoka County and she's very familiar with the judges and the prosecutors. If you have a criminal case in Anoka County and she's either you're paid or public defender you have nothing to worry about.

The value of Lis's representation was not worth her cost. I could have hired a lawyer for half her cost and ended up with the same result. Everything the prosecution offered from the day of my first appearance was exactly the same "deal" I took months later. Being knew to the court system. I simply d...id not know what I did not know. This is a business and I understand that but Lis never seemed like she wanted to "fight" for me. From the very first appearance she wanted me to take a deal that she never had to negotiate for. This was the apposite of what I was told by Lis before I paid and hired her. A simple .10 case cost me $6,000 in her fee alone. I received the same penalty I would have received had I represented myself under the state law for this "crime".
