Having never been in a situation like this (thankfully) I had no idea what to expect or how the process would work out. But I have to admit, I was greatly surprised as to how smooth Cole made every step of the way easy and stress-free. Constant communication from Cole, as well as uber-fast response...s to email's or calls to answer questions I had. From our first phone call, first meeting at his office to every other call, email or meeting, I felt apart of the process, but more importantly my voice was heard and respected. And I greatly appreciated it, at times I thought I might have a small or silly questions, but they were answered and respected just as much as the more in-depth questions. Cole, ever the hard worker with a high-level of professionalism, but also down to earth to help anyone along the way to a road of recovery from an incident. While I knew that people frequently contact a lawyer after an accident for advice or consultation, I never thought that I would be that person. That all changed after I was involved in a motor vehicle. I really did not know exactly what contacting a lawyer would entail and so I was hesitant. I remem...ber dialing the number to Cole's firm, but then hanging up before the phone started to ring. So many thoughts were running through my head that I think it took at least three times before I actually let the call go through. I kept asking myself, what would I say? What will they say? Will they tell me that my case was not worth pursuing? I finally made myself complete the call. It was Cole who answered. As I started to talk, I became very emotional and tears were flowing so hard that I could barely talk. Cole was so patient. He actually listened to me and never once seemed irritated or frustrated with my crying. Instead, he started to describe some of the feelings that people go through after an accident and I started to realize as I listened, that he was describing my emotions and the tears stopped. Finally, I remember thinking, someone understood. Cole went on to explain the options that were available to me; how it would work if I did decide to pursue a settlement and some of the unknowns that I should consider. He never pushed me to make a decision that day. Instead, he told me to take my time, think about it, and then if I wanted to, call back. There were never statements made such as, "What you should do is…", or "You need to take action right now". During the entire conversation, I felt that Cole was patient and supportive of my emotional state, yet very professional in his demeanor. I did make the decision to seek a settlement and I consider myself very fortunate that Cole was the person who represented me. Throughout the entire process, he was always patient with me, quick to return my calls or acknowledge my emails, and when I had questions, they were answered in a way that someone without a legal background could understand. I really do not think that there was a better person for me to get me through such an experience. I would highly recommend Cole to anyone.
