I hired David expecting a proactive advocate. While he is smart, understands the law, and maintains valuable professional relationships, his approach did not fit my case. Throughout the process, I frequently felt kept in the dark and had to initiate contact just to get standard status updates. Dav...id leans heavily toward a collaborative approach, which proved ineffective against an aggressive opposing counsel in a high-conflict divorce. He was clear about statutory limits, but he rarely seemed interested in understanding my perspective or priorities. Hearing him share that he only entered family law because "it was the first job available after graduation" did not inspire confidence during such a critical life event. David is a pleasant, reasonable person, but if you are dealing with a contentious dispute and need a fierce, communicative advocate, I would look elsewhere.
