Biography
Jennifer L. Thompson is a child protection attorney who has represented individuals and county agencies in child protection since 2014. She also worked as a guardian ad litem and was trained in Ramsey and Hennepin Counties in the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) role. Jennifer has extensive training in all facets of child protection, including trauma-informed advocacy, Cornerhouse forensic interviewing, Appellate Practice, and Advanced Trial Advocacy. Jennifer is a member of the Minnesota and U.S. Supreme Court bars and is Minnesota's first Child Welfare Law Specialist (CWLS), certified by the National Association of Counsel for Children.
