Ross David Stadheim

I was terminated without cause and was offered, what I felt, an inadequate severance. I spoke to 2 other employment attorneys and they had no stomach for locking horns with my previous employer. I met with Ross and pitched him the facts of the case and Ross was “All in” on fighting on my behalf. Whe...n it reached a certain point, Ross thought a settlement made sense. The final offer was well over triple of the original severance offer. I have already recommended Ross to a friend in a similar situation. I had hoped to never need a lawyer simply because I did not trust them. I had formed an opinion that most lawyers had low morals an ethics and wanted to satisfy there lust for greed. When my employer fired several others and myself wrongfully, I was determined to hold them accountable for their immor...al actions. One of my co-workers who was also fired, knew of Mr. Stadheim and suggested we contact him. I agreed, because unless somebody did something, our former employer would not have been held accountable for their actions. Mr. Stadheim took our stories and searched State, Federal and Constitution law. He determined that there was enough standing according to State law to prove our former employer did wrongfully terminate us. He suggested that we move forward, and we agreed. At no time did Mr. Stadheim make any promises and informed us that it would take time to work through the process. I appreciated Mr. Stadheim's "No Bull" approach, and honesty. It was actually more than I had expected. I also appreciated his educating us in the legal rambling and delaying tactics. This truly was a case of "David & Goliath", and Goliath had more money and time. Through Mr. Stadheim's willingness to work with us, educate us, and indeed tell us things we did not want to hear, he did earn my respect. Unfortunately, through the settlement process, I also learned that Accountability has taken a back seat to the $ sign. I will always put Accountability before money.
