By chance I found Brad initially through either a Google search or Yellow Pages search. He made himself available immediately for my daughter and did what I feel was a great job. He was supportive along the way, but always straight-forth and honest and when she needed it, set her up for the worse c...ase scenario but when it came time to the court appearance, I couldn't imagine having anyone else be with her and represent her in front of the judge. Unfortunately, a few years down the road she found herself in trouble again, and Brad was there again, no questions asked. He is by far the best in his business, and sadly (but reality), I've been able to refer two others to him for business, who have both echoed my sentiments about Brad, the way he conducts his business and connects with his clients. If you ever find yourself in this horrible situation, do something good for yourself (or whoever you're helping) and contact Brad immediately - you won't regret it!

I contacted Mr. Mathis from the police station after I was arrested for a DUI. He immediately knew time was scarce and went straight to the point on what the best route I should take with the police at the station. Through out my entire case Brad Mathis kept in touch and informed me on any new deta...ils. I highly recommend Mr. Mathis for his persistence, professionalism, and non-judgment. Thank you Brad!

I had very recently moved to MSP and knew absolutely no one to call on the evening of my DUI. I randomly picked Brad's name out of a list of 40+ lawyers provided me by the Ramsey County PD - I am thankfully every day that I did. My call to Brad was placed at 10p on a Saturday night, which he actuall...y bothered to answer. Within five minutes of our conversation, I knew he was the person I wanted in my corner helping me navigate what was to come. Unfortunately the incident occurred on the Saturday before a government holiday on Monday so my incarceration lasted until Tuesday morning. Brad kept in constant contact with me, arranged a bail bondsman, communicated with my friends/relatives and made sure I was as at ease as possible given the circumstances. Brad also took the time to come visit me in Ramsey County jail to make sure I knew what our next steps were and to see how I was doing. Once released, Brad continued constant contact, very clearly explaining my options and what to realistically expect from the process. He took the time to meet in person when decisions needed to be made and was always upbeat, professional and never condescending. On the day of my hearing, everything went as Brad had assured me it would, an outcome I didn't think possible on the day the DUI occurred. It was evident by the way the DA, judge and court reporter interacted with Brad that he was (is) a very well respected, even liked colleague who understands every facet of the process, is extremely well prepared and whose recommendations are taken very seriously by the court. I have since made sure to let my friends/family/colleagues know just how grateful I am that I chose Brad out of that list, giving him my very highest recommendation. Brad has subsequently become somewhat of a friend and I have enjoyed getting to know him on a more personal level. I have found him to be very down to earth, engaging and of the highest integrity.

There really aren't enough stars for Brad Mathis. Brad Mathis came to my assistance when I had found myself in a spot that I could have never imagined. I was incarcerated on Christmas eve - away from my children - feeling broken, very scared and alone. Christmas morning I paged through a direc...tory of attorney in jail, and came across an ad for Brad. There was something about it that connected with me, and I called him. Brad immediately helped calm my completely wrecked nerves, and assured me that he would be able to get my out of jail - even on Christmas. He started working for me, even before I was able to figure out how in the world I was going to get him money. Having no family in the area, and friends not exactly expecting a pre-recorded message from a country jail on Christmas morning....I was convinced I had no hope. Things worked out on that end after several desperate hours - and when I called Brad back to find that he was already working on things - it really spoke a lot about him. I remembered thinking - He must have trusted in me in the way that I trusted in him. I knew he was on my side, that he cared, and that he would do his best for me. He did exactly that. He was able to get to a judge, get bail reduced, refer me to a bail bond company, and keep me steady along the way. I was able to be free from jail by late afternoon. Again, all of this happened on CHRISTMAS DAY! Who can get this done?????? Brad Mathis can. After I got out, I was in shock from my situation, alone, and had no idea what I was going to do. Although Brad's immediate "job" was done, he stuck with me - always taking my calls, always offering a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, and provided me with *excellent" advice along the way. Brad is a compassionate and meaningful guy - it comes out in all that he does. Over the next few weeks - Brad had my back, held my hand, and kept my mind at ease (as much as possible) as we weeded through the "process". This was not my "life" - I didn't know the "system", and Brad handled the tough stuff - allowing me to try to find my place and take care of myself. In the end, no charges ever wound up being pressed. Brad worked with all parties involved, and the case was quickly dropped. The joy I had in first seeing my children again without a police escort......I still cry as I write this. It's been a few years now, and life has carried on. I have bumped in to Brad along the way and it was like I saw my long lost Brother. He is very calming and caring. Brad cares. He cared for me when no one else did - even the ones closest to me. It goes without saying - I so very highly recommend Brad Mathis to anyone and everyone. I hold him in such high regard, and believe that God truly uses him to help people. Brad shines the light for people in their darkness. Brad saved my life, and I will never be able to repay him (it's more than money) for what he did for me.
