Michael works very hard to get your case all ready for review, and all I really had to do was supply necessary documents for him, and send them via email (which is great instead of having to physically go into the office during these COVID times) The initial consultation was a breeze, I am a nurse and not fluent in legal jargon, Michael makes it very easy to understand exactly what was going to happen. When I had my mandatory phone hearing with the trustee, there was one snag, as she got stuck on my Grandmothers diamonds she gave me when she passed, family heirlooms. She made me jump through hoops to get them appraised (which ended up not happening because it was too expensive bc there was so many of them) she wanted individual pictures (of high quality) of tiny .25 carat diamonds. So the first meeting with the trustee was postponed until she could learn more about the diamonds. During this time Michael not only explained her reasoning but was very helpful and communicative of what I needed to have done and when I needed it done by. Easy. After the second meeting with the trustee it went great. And what is great about those trustee meetings, Michael is on the line also listening while your case is being heard, so if you need help or get stuck on something, he is always at the ready to step in and help his clients. Working with Atlas Law Firm on my bankruptcy was the smartest thing I could do. And now I am on my way to rebuilding my credit after a horrible divorce and becoming very ill and racking up tons of medical bills I just couldn’t pay. Because of Michael and he work, I am now optimistic on rebuilding my credit to the great score it was before I was married. I would recommend this firm to anyone looking to do their bankruptcy without all the stress.
