Biography
Joan G. Hallock Mediation was founded in 2014 with the goal of providing the best workers' compensation mediation experiences for my clients. I have a unique perspective, skills, and insight developed in nearly 10 years as a Workers’ Compensation Judge for the State of Minnesota, Office of Administrative Hearings. I focuses my practice in workers’ compensation and workers’ compensation mediation and arbitration. I am a qualified neutral under Rule 114 of the Minnesota Rules of General Practice and have been a mediator/arbitrator for the Union Construction Workers’ Compensation Program since 2003.
I received a B.S. from Boston University, an M.S. from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, and a J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law. I am admitted to practice in Minnesota and Wisconsin and am a member of the Ramsey County Bar Association, the Minnesota State Bar Association, the Wisconsin Bar Association, and Conflict Resolution Minnesota.
