A former insurance claims adjuster, Mr. Schroeder is frequently selected to arbitrate insurance disputes. An avid motorcyclist and member of the Street Legal Motorcycle Club, he represents motorcyclists on legal matters.

Mr. Schroeder lectures on Bad Faith insurance law and consumer law in Wisconsin and Minnesota. He has also served as a judge for the National Mock Trial and Moot Court competitions.

Mr. Schroeder is an active member of the Minnesota, Wisconsin, Georgia and American trial lawyers associations. He has been selected by Who's Who in Personal Injury Law for four consecutive years from 2006 through 2010, named one of the top 40 Workers' Compensation lawyers in Minnesota, and a Super Lawyer from 2008 until 2021.

The best lawyer!

I have the world's best lawyer! Richard Schroeder at Schroeder & Mandel was able to help me solve my wage claim with a former employer of mine quickly and efficiently. I originally requested my missing wages on my own and worked with the Minnesota Department of Labor, but found no solution or progress. Richard stepped in to help. He has always done a very good job educating me of my rights and has always been transparent about what his work would entail, and what our next step would be. Look no further for a lawyer......

Rick and his associates are the best! They did everything for me as I was completely overwhelmed dealing with my concussion and injuries and just couldn't do the piles of paperwork required by the insurance companies, employers and medical professionals. Owner & Chef of Chef Hot Hands find dining gourmet delivery

Richard save me from being blindsided & Took an advantage of by the owner of a commercial property I was renting, I reached out to Richard given him a 72hr notice of a meeting with the owner about who Foots the responsibility for plumbing electricity and fire systems that this commercial unit I was renting need it done Richard show up to the meeting & was very knowledgeable to the facts of my least & agreement. Richard knows how to get straight to the point in a clean way of communicating. Richard ultimately got me reimbursed for the prior payments made to contractors also got me two months of rent at a lower rate. Outstanding service
