Eric Aron Rice

I would absolutely recommend Eric A. Rice as a lawyer. If I ever need a lawyer again, I'm going to him. He was very attentive to my brother's case - driving without insurance and with an expired license. My brother had just graduated college and planned to move out of the state in a month or so when ...he got in trouble. We were so worried this traffic violation would seriously mess up my brother's plans to move and also drown him in fines. Thanks to Mr. Rice, the outcome was exactly what we had hoped for. Mr. Rice kept us informed on what we could expect and what his goals for the case. He made us feel like we really had someone smart and dedicated on our side. Even the prosecutor said to my brother "you have a hell of a lawyer." I completely agree.

We hired Eric to represent our son. I had called other lawyers and their free consultations consisted of a brief conversation on the phone and then a demanding of money for anymore information. Eric met with us at his office and talked with us for over an hour. Then gave us the option to take the inf...ormation to the public defender or hire him. He was very knowledgeable, but explained things in terms that we could understand. His price was very reasonable and we hired him immediately. He went to jail multipul times to meet with our son and discuss the case and explained what would take place at every court date. He either answered my phone calls or called me back with in a few minutes. He even took calls on the weekends and evenings. He put a lot of time and effort into my sons case and kept us informed every step of the way. He wrote a 17 page reforandom for the court and emailed it to me so that I could look it over before he sent it to the courts, he also met with my son in jail and had him look it over before submitting it. Going to court is not an easy thing and trying to understand all the legal term makes it even harder. Having someone like Eric on our side made thing a lot easier. My son was sentenced and Eric came and talked to me to explain what it all meant. He also sent me an email explaining what it all meant and how much time my son would serve, there is calculating for time off for good behavior and time served. He knew I was visiting my son the day after his sentencing and called me later that day to see how my visit went and how I was doing, if I had any questions, and again explained to me what all went on. As a mother going through a sentencing and listening to some of the things that are said about your child for the case of arguement from the prosacuting attorney is very hard and my brain couldn't process all that was said. Eric made sure that I fully understood what took place and why. He also told me that even though his job was done, that should I have questions in the future to feel free to call him. I just can't say enough good things about him. I thank God that we found him and will never be able to truely explained how blessed I felt to have him represent my son. If you are considering hireing Eric, I would highly recommend him. I hope that I will never need his services again but I will hire him again should I need him.
