Would not recommend

I want to start off by saying that this was my experience and for the sake of my mental health, I feel the need to share my experience with attorney Corey Kobbervig so that other people, particularly women experiencing workplace discrimination, have don’t have to go through what I went through with C...orey. That being said, this lawyer was the most rude, downright unprofessional lawyer that I have ever spoken with and because of that I have become completely disillusioned with the legal system. During an initial consult for which I was referred to him, I explained my situation which was a sensitive subject matter and the grief I had to endure throughout the whole process, Corey completely cold responds “what do you want from me?”.. sir, this is a referral, what do YOU mean what do I want from you. This prompts me to repeat why I was referred to him in the first place to which he says “I’m no interested” and then proceeds to say “good luck”. I understand that not every lawyer is going to take on each case they are referred to, I get that! However, a simple ‘no, thank you’ or just ‘no’ would have sufficed. Because of the painful experience I had with workplace harassment and bullying and Corey’s rude, unprofessional behavior, I have become completely disillusioned with the legal system and lawyers. What he said to me really hurt me in ways that I can’t even express. It was so dismissive and again unprofessional. It’s also not lost on me that most of his good reviews are by men. I would suggest women, particularly women who have dealt with workplace harassment to stay clear of Corey. If you are needing help with workplace discrimination and/or harassment - Corey unfortunately is not your guy. He will talk down to you and doesn’t seem to care about victims.

Excellent experience

First time working closely with a lawyer. Corey was professional and very understanding about my busy schedule. I had an issue with a previous emplyoyer about paid vacation owed and Corey handled it very well.
