Now I suffer from long term injuries that he n...ever got comp for. I wouldn't hire him to represent anything. He was more worried about his "Happy hour" than me.

I sought help from Atty Kewley in a custody case. My ex made up false allegations about me and tried to take custody of my son after being confronted with paying medical bills and the state mandated level of Child Support. Atty. Kewley seemed motivated at first, but did little to assist i...n the case (aside from collecting a lot of money). In the end, I did keep custody of my son. Yet, this was due to a wise judge who "saw through my ex" and evidence I brought in (which Kewley eluded that I didn't need-- so glad I insisted it be used). Ironically, the medical bills and increased support never did get addressed by Atty Kewley, and was seeminly overlooked in the paperwork he filed. When asked about this, he said I would have to retain him longer for this to occur, which I did not. Instead, I handled it myself with a better outcome than I believe Mr. Kewley could have achieved. In short, Mr. Kewley seemed far more interested in money than the best welfare of the child or the client he was supposed to be representing.

Mr Kewley only took my divorce case because my ex and I had everything supposedly all figured out. Instead of looking out for my best interest and helping me, he took the money and ran. I still owe him for closing costs, and now have to pay a different lawyer to straighten out all Rich's lack of help.... The whole divorce, I met with Rich for the final consultation and then at the closing.Everythin inbetween was handled over the phone. Now because of inproper consultation (me not being a lawyer and not knowing better), I have been denied visitation, daycare has precedence over my visitation, and instead of paying 17% in child support, I pay roughly 34% for one childe. After consultation with a differnet lawyer, I have beenn told that due to the final divorce stipulation, there is no way to enforce her denial of visitation. Now I'm way in debt, homeless, and without seeing my son. Just Wonderfull!
