Mediocre Representation

In early March, 2011, Dan Cross agreed to represent me in a divorce of a 20-year marriage. Dan was not prepared for the two telephone conferences that were schedule more than one week in advance which occurred in late February 2011. Dan Cross admitted on the telephone that he was reading my e-mails a...s we spoke. To be fair, I think Dan Cross has the knowledge and expertise. However, there was one time that Cross was harsh and hurried with me. For example, we were supposed to have a telephone conference at least one day prior to our initial hearing. Dan Cross did not contact me until just a few hours prior to the hearing. Then, when I had a lot of questions directed to Dan, he became harsh with me and appeared to try and rush me. I also feel strongly that I had to push him to do what he was paid to do. Ten days after the hearing, I decided to remove Dan Cross from my case. I retained a second attorney that fairly represented me. In closing I feel strongly that there was a credibility issue in my experience with Cross.
