Within the first 5 minutes I knew I had made a mistake in paying $100 for a consultation with Jennifer F. Thompson; she didn't even give me the courtesy of introducing herself. I was emotional and in tears being very upset over a DC citation I received. Jennifer wasn't listening to me; she impatiently cut me off numerous times, as if annoyed. For example, I started our conversation by saying, "I originally wanted to get a restraining order against my neighbor, but now I..." and she cut me off telling me why a RO wasn't possible. I could barely get a full sentence out before she reacted. She should no concern for my situation, she was confrontational, and visibly sneered at me a couple times, as if my questions were stupid. Throughout the entire consultation I felt as if I were in court defending myself. She actually said, "I don't believe you" and "I don't believe that happened" making me feel re-victimized.
