Some words I would use to describe after hiring Jennifer Thompson would be: unprofessional, incompetent, unstable, unprepared, and short tempered. For reference, she was my attorney for the first half of my divorce, and if you have the option to choose anyone other than Attorney Thompson, I would re...commend you do so and not make a tough time in your life any harder than it is already. The lawyer I hired after parting ways with Ms. Thompson was night and day difference in how they operated and so was my overall experience. If you're looking to get cussed out and screamed at by someone you're paying hundreds of dollars an hour to, Attorney Thompson is for you! Another big red flag I saw after the fact was when she showed up to court in a beat up looking Ford Escape. She complained about the Judge enough to me that I was convinced the Judge did not like her, which I don't think is a very favorable trait. Not sure if she had other issues going on in her life when I had hired her, but I don't wish anyone to have the type of experience I had with her. Two thumbs down, if I could rate her ZERO STARS, that would be more accurate than the 1 star. An absolute disgrace.

I considered and still am considering sueing Jennifer for her negligence in my case. I agree with the other reviews, she's incompetent and emotional and comes off as kind of cuckoo in front of the judge. The other party didn't even really have that good of a lawyer but she just chokes. She was tota...lly unprepared to fight for me, but super aggressive when trying to collect her pay. I lost everything because of her and am still in debt. I would advise anyone to seek other counsel.
