Attorney Pauls was an absolute gift after having battled previous custody issues using a different attorney. We had called her office several years earlier and the impression I got from her assistant Sarah, always stuck with me. I knew we should have hired Heather at that moment. However, for whate...ver reason, we didn't and had ended up with a terrible attorney. A few years later, we found ourselves in need of an attorney to go back to court and our first phone call was made to Heather. Our case dealt with a teenage boy choosing to come live with his father instead - which involved also having a G.A.L. attorney appointed. Heather is very knowledgeable, professional, kind, listened to our questions/concerns. Heather and Sarah were very quick to respond back with a phone call or email. She was very upfront on all of our options and the possible outcomes, what to expect, and what we should do to prepare. Her sense of humor helped my husband relate to her, and relax, during the stressful times. We are so very pleased with how our case was handled by Heather and her assistant Sarah - they know so much and take the stress out of everything!!! Honestly, if our case turned out not in our favor, we would still recommend her based on our previous experiences with a different attorney - the quality of her work exceeded our expectations 1,000 times over. If you are looking for a family law attorney, you would be an idiot not to hire her!

Heather is always there - willing and eager to answer any question(s), give guidance and a sense of direction even when your feeling lost. Heather was my previous attorney, and recommended that I change attorneys because of the county I lived in. This means she LOST money sending me to another reputa...ble attorney. She did this because it was in the best interest of ME, and my case. What more could you ask for? Well she will provide more! Anytime I have a concern, or need an ear - she is there. Go find that in todays world with attorneys! I have referred many acquaintances to her, all with proven results. You would be a fool not to give her a chance.

This attorney is very fake and will tell you things that sound good. I was told to move where my ex moves regardless of how many times they move. When I called this attorney she would either take days to call or not call me back at all. On the outside this attorney looks the part, on the inside, very... fake and not much of a go-getter as an attorney should be in my opinion. I believe this attorney has a good heart, just believe as I do for most attorneys is out to make lots of money. She is definitely in the right field.

Heather was the third and last attorney I interviewed when looking for a divorce lawyer for our marriage of 27 years. But my first meeting with Heather sold me on her, that everything would be OK, that she would help me get through this trying divorce… that she understood how important my 4 childre...n were to me... I wasn’t just another person coming in off the street… I was a real person in need, and she was there to walk side by side with me through this ordeal… And she did!! I would recommend Heather without a second thought to anyone needing a lawyer for a divorce. She was very understanding, kind, and caring for the situation I was in… She was very compassionate to my then wife during the whole process – as it was a tough situation we were going through... She showed complete mastery of the process, the required steps, the paperwork, and the terms of the settlement. Heather and her assistant, Sarah alleviated much of the stress I had with the divorce – by not throwing all the requirements at me... at one time, but by feeding me small bits, in order not to overload me with the emotions, the details, and the process.. She made sure I fully understood everything – and also that my wife did as well. She answered promptly (usually that very day) all questions of a person confused and going through his first (and hopefully) only divorce. She was very open in wanting to be in our divorce process as little or as much as I wanted her to be there… She pushed me to work through the details of the divorce outside her office as much as possible… To work through the details with my wife… To negotiate with my wife... Even to the point of wanting us to try and work things us out... But she was totally there for any questions that I had… Sarah, her assistant, was always completely on top of everything with all the required details and paperwork… An excellent team… And even pushing back on me, when I was making decisions based on emotion, and not the real-life situation. In the end, everything worked out at the final hearing as I hoped, and as we had planned… I want no other lawyer than Heather going forward – though I pray I never have that need again. But Heather and Sarah are the best!! And I’m happy to have met both!

As most people know or have heard, finding an attorney and taking those first vulnerable steps towards divorce are some of the hardest points in life. From the moment I first met Heather, her kind yet professional manner assured me "it would be OK" and from then on it was. Beyond obvious intelligence... and professionalism, Heather encompassed compassion and understanding. I never doubted her experience, advice or dedication to my case, and now that my divorce is final, I can honestly say I picked the best.
