I was VERY pleased with the help I received from Mr Brehm. I had signed a lease to rent an apartment. After seeing the apartment I had second thoughts and didn't want to rent it (yes I signed the lease before I saw the apartment. Don't judge me. I know it was a stupid thing to do, but I was friends w...ith the people.) The landlords were very clear that they weren't going to let me out of the lease, and were willing to go to court to enforce it. I could either move into an apartment I didn't want, or pay the rent until they found someone else to rent it. I called Mr Brehm and he had me drop my lease off at his office on my way to work. 2 hours later I received a text from him saying the lease had several illegal clauses in it. The next morning I stopped in to see him and he had written a letter to my landlords-to-be explaining that the lease was void and unenforceable and told them to return my security deposit. Honestly, I would have let them keep my deposit if they had just let me out of the lease. But with Mr Brehm's help 3 days later I received my $600 deposit back. It was the best possible outcome. Very happy with the services I received from my Brehm. He was very professional. Very prompt at taking my case and at contacting me. If I ever need another attorney, I know who I'll call first.
