I was pulled over for a DWI and also charged with "intent to sell THC." While the Assistant DA was "slow-to-respond," Joel's persistence eventually lead to a plea agreement which included several charges being dismissed, and two counts of THC possession (a misdemeanor). The DA also reduced my blood...-alcohol charge (avoiding a vehicle interlock requirement). I believe it is largely Joel's integrity and reputation within the courts that helped both the DA and the Judge to see my case for what it was (and wasn't). While this has cost me a bundle both financially, professionally, and personally, I firmly believe that I received the most lenient sentence possible given the original charges. This has been an extremely difficult time for me and my family. Not only has Joel been accessible and responsive, he has also treated me with respect, understanding, and compassion - having a friend and confidant in my corner has meant the world to me!
