This review is as REAL as it gets! Charged with Felony 5th OWI, Felony refusal to give blood. During which caught ANOTHER case Felony Bail jumping, and Felony possession of narcotics. End result Felony 5th OWI AND Felony Refusal....DISMISSED. Felony possession dropped, plead out the Felony bail jumpi...ng NO JAIL TIME, NO PROBATION!!! Now not only was hiring Jay the best decision I have ever made...and yes the outcome of both cases better than I ever imagined....that's not even the icing on the cake...bottom line Jay M. Englund literally saved my life! Upon hiring him I was in a dark place where I have just about to give up on everything, Jay gave me suggestions not just to help with my case, more importantly to get my life on track. They were hard decision, but I listened to him and we'll I finally have my life back which I truly thought was coming to an end. Jay was with me by my side the ENTIRE way! As for my case....once Jay knew something, I knew something. He kept me posted 110% of the way, explained everything, clearly, and most importantly was 110% honest weather it was good or bad news/ thoughts of what to do. Between him and his secretary everything was documented, explained, and getting a hold of Jay for any reason was NEVER an issue! I can honestly say I have my life back, on track, and NOTHING holding me on a stand still 110 % because of making the decision to hir Jay Englund. Pricy yes but HE WORKED with me ways a lot of other lawyers wouldn't. When it comes to price....DO NOT LET IT DISCOURAGE YOU FROM HIRING HIM. For a guy that lives pay check to pay check....well worth every penny....and I wouldn't of had one issue paying more if needed. This review is a real as they come if your reading this. My case is over and I still have his number if I ever need him even just for advice I know I can count on him. He is more than a lawyer in my eyes. He is someone who I now trust with my life a great friend....and I feel I can never truly pay him back for what he has done for me!

This past summer I found myself in a predicament I've never been in before. I had been arrested on battery charges. I had never been arrested in my life. It happened when I was on vacation so not being from the area made it even more scary. I qualified for a public defender, however, after one co...nversation with her, I realized she did not have my best interest in mind, and was potentially "overworked". I began a search for a lawyer who would make me and my clean record a priority. After calling a few lawyers, and not feeling satisfied, I read about Jay. I thought, okay, he sounds pretty good. I gave him a call and just one conversation with him put me at ease. Jay has done nothing but impressed me from day one. I hired him at the end of August 2015 and still deal with him currently. He was able to get the battery charge reduced to disorderly conduct and after a year, the whole thing is going to be dismissed due to signing a deferred prosecution agreement. This had been the most stressful time in my 35 years and Jay was by my side the whole entire time and still is. Each time I called Jay he was there for me. If he wasn't available at the moment, I was guaranteed a phone call back that day. Jay has become a great friend, and I couldn't even imagine what would have happened if I hadn't found him. I'd call him with rediculous questions and concerns sometimes and he'd always answer everything and never made me feel stupid or unimportant. Jay and his assistant, Megan are wonderful and I was definitely blessed to have them on my side. Jay is worth EVERY PENNY. I will always be thankful to Jay for what he's done for me and my family.

I have worked with Jay on two separate occasions and could not suggest anyone else for the job. He gave me all the different avenues the case could proceed in and his corresponding courses of action depending on the outcome. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst, he informed me of everything alo...ng the way so that there would be no surprises. Always prompt to respond to my phone calls and emails; either he or Megan typically on the same day if not within hours. Also, so that I could be preemptive and start work towards a stronger case, he gave me tasks to complete which would help give him more leverage. I appreciated Jay's experience and to-the-point manner and his ability to direct me through something I knew little about. If you are looking for an attorney, you've found the right one!

Mr. Englund was a fantastic defense Lawyer in my case. Although my charges consisted of a felony degree charge, I insisted my innocence to Jay right from the beginning, and I truly believe he put 100% trust in me and what I had to say. He and his investigative team worked incredibly hard to get the ...results I not only wanted, but needed to continue my life how I wanted to. He has a work ethic that not many can say they have, and in the end the results show. Although mr. Englund has a boat load of confidence in his ability, he did a good job of preparing me for what could come and when things would happen. I don't have much to complain about with the job he did, and my felony charge was completing dropped months after the initial charge. It did take a long time, but that is just how the system works. I feel that if Jay was not representing me, if could have taken a considerable amount of extra time to reach a resolution. I thanks god for what he has done for me and am pleased he represented me.

Jay Englund was able to take over a very diluted and drawn out case against myself; track it's history, understand the facts as well as misunderstandings - and provide results that were outside of even my best expectations. Had I known Jay 18 months ago, I personally believe I could have saved mysel...f an enormous amount of time, money and most importantly - missed opportunities. Jay literally allowed me to understand what was actually happening and what needed to be done to get from point A to point B after two previous attorneys and 18 months of toiling could not. He told me precisely what he needed, when, and why. Jay was ultra proactive and supported by a staff that allowed him to do so - Thank you Megan as well. My charges had stemmed from previous charges that I had never fully understood; hence, they became of a criminal nature. I did not understand the recourse possible until Jay explained them to me. He had done all due diligence previous to our initial conversation, so when he spoke to me - he was completely informed of all 18 months of mixed letters, hearings, etc. Within 8 minutes of speaking with Jay - I understood the severity of my situation and why. Within 15 days - Jay was able to assemble the material necessary to have my criminal charges dropped to a fine. Jay's ability to distill the piles of information given to him down to a clear series of events pertinent to the law was absolutely one of the most admirable acts of intelligence and efficiency I have seen.
