Incompetent and Unprofressional

Michael Brandt was a terrible lawyer. This picture of him is also from what may be 20 years ago as it does not reflect his age currently. He used only 10 minutes of his time to figure out our family situation after claiming he “read the report but needed a refresher” 10 minutes prior to the court ...hearing. He had not reached out beforehand at all, yet he had the power to advocate “the best interest” for my child when he knew little to nothing about the child, our family, what was going on, etc. I would HIGHLY NOT recommend him to anyone!

Given that "Diana" is a fake name of a person who was obviously not a client, it is difficult to respond to. This sounds like a very unhappy person who tried (and failed!) to use an injunction to attack the other parent of their child, was dismayed that the attorney (apparently me?) didn't fall for it, and the Court rightly declined to let "Diana" destroy the other parent's relationship with their child. I'm proud of the work I've done, and I cherish reviews like this because it means I did a good job, as this person failed to harm their child's relationship with their other parent, at least in some exceedingly small part thanks to me. I suspect that both the Court and the other parent in this case (whoever they are) would have a dramatically different opinion of me. A person who leaves a "review" like this is not a person I would want to get a positive review from. In short, to paraphrase FDR... I welcome her hatred. I don't mind insulting comments or reviews like this. Dealing with unpleasant people is part of my job on a daily basis. I'm good at generally being compassionate and respectful, but family law involves people at their worst, and often they are those who refuse to take any personal responsibility for their own actions. I take responsibility for myself and my own failures and mistakes. Lord knows there are enough. But whatever "Diana" is talking about isn't one of them. I should say that my hair has gone a bit more gray since that picture was taken about 8 years ago.
