Though I had heard of him before from word of mouth, I was made aware that he would be available for my case as a public defender, and that there was no conflicts of interest. I knew he was good but when he almost overturned the preliminary hearing I told him right then that he was a hell of a lawye...r for that is as close as anyone has every came in my county of residence. He then got me transferred from jail to a treatment facility for my ATR after I jumped bail, which saved my life. Then as we awaited jury trial for months he prepared for the battle of my life, however at the last possible moment the ADA of my county offered his first reasonable plea offer in his 25 years of service or severing however you want to look at it. So i took the misdemeanor plea deal, though I really wanted to see Michael's defense in a Grand Jury Trial scenario. He had a creative, resourceful, and sound defense ready. Much more so then the extremely overpriced lawyers I had in Jury Trials before not to mention other legal proceedings where the lawyers only concern was my money. Hence the title the best money ever spent. Michael essentially saved my life, from legal predicaments to the overall nightmare my day to day life had transformed into after years of darkness and depression.
