Biography
Emily Bell is a dedicated criminal defense attorney who has spent nearly two decades protecting the rights of individuals facing serious criminal charges throughout Wisconsin. She represents clients in a wide range of criminal matters, with a particular focus on impaired driving cases, including complex OWI litigation involving traffic stops, searches and seizures, chemical testing issues, prior conviction challenges, refusal allegations, and administrative driver's license suspension proceedings.
Attorney Bell has pursued extensive advanced training in forensic science and impaired driving defense. She has received specialized education in blood analysis from the American Chemical Society and in breath-testing science from the National College for Drunk Driving Defense. She also holds certifications in Standardized Field Sobriety Testing and Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement. This training allows her to effectively challenge scientific evidence and advocate for clients at both the pretrial and trial stages of criminal cases.
Beyond OWI defense, Attorney Bell represents individuals charged with drug offenses, domestic violence allegations, violent crimes, weapons offenses, sensitive crimes, and homicide cases. She also assists clients seeking or defending against injunctions and restraining orders.

Attorney Bell earned her Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School in 2009, following her graduation from Grand Valley State University with degrees in Philosophy and Liberal Studies. She is an active member of the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the National College for Drunk Driving Defense, the Dane County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and the State Bar of Wisconsin's Civil Rights & Liberties Section.
