Attorney Emilia Janisch is an associate at Axley Brynelson, LLP and member of the Litigation Practice Group. She practices in a wide range of litigation matters including general, commercial, employment, intellectual property, and personal injury along with municipal law and labor and employment law.
A cum laude graduate of Penn State Law, Attorney Janisch rejoins Axley after working as a Summer Associate in 2019. In addition, Ms. Janisch worked as a legal extern with MidPenn Legal Services in Central Pennsylvania and as an intern for Hon. Rosemarie Aquilina of the 30th Circuit Court for Ingham County, Michigan. Her experience includes drafting motions, pleadings, and briefs in various proceedings including child custody, protective orders, property disputes, land use, and condemnation.
Prior to joining Axley, Attorney Janisch worked as a teaching assistant in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia where she taught an English legal writing course for Mongolian law students and practitioners. She also served as the Editor-in-Chief for the Penn State Journal of Law and International Affairs. Attorney Janisch utilizes her writing experience to strongly and persuasively advocate on behalf of her clients.
When not in the office, Attorney Janisch enjoys coaching and playing softball, reading thriller novels, and watching football on the weekends with her fiancé and their dogs.
