Gail V Perry

Gail advises banks and other financial service providers on complex and day-to-day regulatory consumer compliance and regulatory issues, deposit taking issues, and real estate financing. She assists her clients to avoid problems by reviewing and drafting financial institution documentation and recommends procedures for addressing consumer protection regulations, such as Fair Lending, Truth-in-Lending, Fair Credit Reporting, RESPA, Electronic Funds Transfers, and Wisconsin law. Gail drafts and negotiates agreements between financial service providers and third party service providers, including internet service vendor agreements, correspondent loan agreements and marketing agreements. She also drafts agreements between banks and bank customers, including, remote deposit capture agreements, merchant agreements and internet banking agreements.

Gail represents lenders in commercial loan transactions with a particular expertise in commercial real estate loans.

Gail regularly works with the Wisconsin Bankers Association to educate bankers on lending issues and consumer compliance issues. She also assists the Financial Institution Products Corporation (FIPCO) with the preparation of loan and deposit forms and provides legal review of software for automated loan and deposit processing.
