Dale has practiced law in Madison since 1986. During that time he has focused his practice in the areas of residential and commercial real estate; general business, including contracts and contractual disputes; family law, including divorce and post-divorce matters; personal injury; estate planning and probate needs. He also represents individuals in the areas of criminal law, including OWI defense, traffic law and misdemeanor defense.
Dale graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he earned both a Bachelor of Business Administration and his law degree.
Over the years, as his clients have found themselves in need of legal services either business or personal, in good and not so good times, they have turned to Dale to assist them, to advise them and to help them achieve good results. From starting a new business and creating new entities, growing and expanding the business, and handling transactions, Dale assists his clients with their day-to-day legal needs. When it comes to planning, Dale helps clients with their estate planning needs, including drafting Wills, Powers of Attorney and Trusts.
When times are tough and uncertain, that's often when people need a lawyer most and they turn to a trusted advisor. Dale assists his clients with the emotional and financial chanllenges surrounding family law, both in divorce and post divorce matters.
Dale has been defending drivers, including those charged with OWI/DUI/DWI and moving violations for many years. Traffic cases are where many people first encounter the legal system and it can be confusing and time consuming to represent yourself. Individuals charged with these types of offenses or misdemeanor charges count on Dale to review the merits of their cases and provide them with both a vigorous defense as well as an experienced opinion of how their cases can be resolved on the most favorable terms. Informing clients, presenting and defending their cases, and listening to their concerns are part of Dale's regular practice.
