About me

Kayla has diverse experience handling matters for banks, businesses and credit unions.  She reviews and prepares loan documents for commercial and agricultural loan transactions.  Kayla represents clients involved in all aspects of restructurings and workouts and helps clients recover assets through the foreclosure and collection process.  Often, the process invokes Kayla’s knowledge of bankruptcy where she represents creditors in bankruptcy cases.  Kayla’s practice also focuses on real estate and business matters and includes the drafting and reviewing of contracts.  In addition, Kayla guides individuals through estate planning and probate.  While Kayla has the capability of handling a large caseload, she cares about the details.  Her attention to detail and hard work gives her clients the confidence they need to proceed.  Kayla’s practice is solution-oriented and she anticipates problems ahead of time and finds answers.  The result is trustworthy, legal advice that gives clients peace of mind about the outcomes.

While in law school, she served as Managing Editor of the Wisconsin Law Review.  Kayla is a past President of the Rock County Bar Association. A couple of Kayla’s personal achievements include, serving as Miss Rodeo South Dakota and completing a technical climb of the Grand Teton mountain in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
