How can you give zero stars?

Round of applause for the this law firm, very unprofessional, and refusing court orders to provide information on a case. Very smug, snobby, hanging up the phone, not helpful, set an appointment two different times to be pushed back less than an hour before the appointment day of, for something that ...can simply be printed in office, knowing that this needs to be done timely and having it court ordered to be done. This law firm likes to waste people's time and money. Both of which are equally valuable

100% satisfied

I hired Lane immediately after our situation. They did an amazing job of keeping us posted. (Revocation hearing 2017). They allowed us a payment plan that worked, he destroyed the parole officer, the persons accusing my spouse of the crime were absolutely destroyed in court (one went to prison for fi...ling a false police report) and even had my spouses parole officer saying "you had a damn good attorney". My spouse was facing many years in prison. Lane even had the judge asking why the parole officer tried to take this to a revocation hearing. Ignore the bad reviews. They are probably from people pissed off things didnt go their way. I have recommended him many times, and I will continue to do so.

Terrible experience

I had a terrible experience with this law firm. I reached out to this firm to settle a land contract dispute with someone who was not paying their mortgage. Sadly, due to a lack of knowledge, my attorney prepared a case which was not within my legal rights under Wisconsin law. To make matt...er worse, the law office lacked basic communication, which caused the matter to drag out for months. To name a few issues, they did not contact me when the retainer ran out, nor did they contact me when they needed a court filing fee. Instead, they would stop working on the case until I reached out to them inquiring about progress. After paying to take the case to court, it was immediately thrown out by the judge. In the end I was left without resolution in the case and a request for a much larger retainer to continue legal representation. After being out $1500 in representation costs, fees, a flight and hotel, and months without pay from the land contract, I cannot recommend this law firm.

Terrible Experience

I hired this attorney to resolve a drivers license issue. The issue was clearly laid out before a retainer agreement was established. I was told up to 7 business days to resolve it. It had been 2 months with no resolution. A flat fee was agreed and contract was signed for a flat fee, however an in...flated invoice was sent to me after the firm saw a bad review being posted about them.

Lessons learned

Lane is great at what he does. The amount of money he pulled from me was amazing. All I have to say is that I am glad I threw him in the burn pit with the rest of the debt from my divorce. I learned a lot. I found out that hiring a lawyer for family court is the must fucktarded thing a person ca...n do. Family court is a kangaroo court. All these lawyers, the Child support agencies, and anyone involved in family court is raking in the money, and the benefits of Title IV-A. If you do not know what Title IV-A is, look it up. It will blow your mind. basically, if you're paying child support, you;'re paying off a loan that the states took out from the Federal government, that is paid through Social Security. I cannot fault Lane for everything. At the time he was working with Brad Schwieger.(misspellof last name. Don't care) Hire an attorney for anything but Family court.
