Divorce is never easy. With mine, I was representing myself for the first quarter of the process. I consulted with Lindsey and hired her as we both assumed it was on it's last legs and as the respondent, we would both just ensure the legal process is followed. We both assumed wrong. Lindsey was instr...umental in keeping the process grounded. She went above and beyond being the respondent attorney and even cracked the whip a few times as necessary. The other party was all over the place and random, she was able to keep the focus and more importantly keep me from losing my mind. Yes there were frustrations with the process, but she was patient and level headed. She is not your typical lawyer, from my perspective, that is after your money or delaying the process or tasks to get more. She is the opposite. I can't put or type into words how grateful I am that she came in the middle of everything and was able to keep the train on the tracks, as a respondent lawyer, when the petitioner and their lawyer were trying to derail along the way. Oh and the unnecessarily complicated process in Milwaukee County is a nightmare, she was able to guide along that craziness and break it down honestly and with her client in mind, while also considering the other side.
