Attorney May Y. Lee is the managing partner at LEE LAW FIRM LLC. Her survival from being born in an abandoned barn in the middle of a third world country while her parents fled from war and genocide, is living proof to her that there is justice in this world. Decades later, she would choose to use the trials of her past to be a voice of empowerment for the people she speaks up for.
Attorney Lee spent her career as an educator, teaching then later working in higher education. She eventually pursued law to voice education in arena of the legal justice system. She began law school while a mother of five children! She voices this as encouragement that it is never too late to pursue your dream. Attorney Lee is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Law School.
Attorney Lee began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office. She has firsthand knowledge the enormous resources the government possesses. This background gives her a uniqueness to advocate for her clients. When charged with a crime, individuals are often overwhelmed, not knowing where to even begin. Most have little idea what legal defenses they have and fear the power of what they stand against. Attorney Lee has the experience to navigate the system. Compassionate and well-versed
