Catherine La Fleur is a very credentialed and highly experienced attorney, and she has an office of lawyers working under her… As an entrepreneur with many business holdings, I understand the skill needed to run a business and develop a team to execute goals.
My case was centered on enforcing a prenup so I can regain control of my assets in lieu of divorce, and I went to Attorney La Fleur for representation and she provided me with her associate Nick Wanic to handle the case with her direct oversight.
What I wish to convey most is that the quality of Cathy’s work and her intelligence is present in her associates, and working with her associates IS working with Cathy.
I am cognitively disabled and this makes understanding certain things difficult for me, and both Attorneys La Fleur and Wanic gave me clear communication and led me to full understanding of everything pertinent throughout my case…and it came with a Win for me, for which I am deeply grateful.
For all of my future legal needs, my first consult will be with Catherine La Fleur and her legal team.
Catherine went anove and beyond to help me with my custody case. She was extremely knowledgeable, and up front, letting me know that this would be difficult but it was possible. It was in fact possible and I got the best outcome not for myself, but for my son. She is personable, and rises to the challenge. Excellent communication. Her entire office staff is great too.
If you are looking to end your marriage, Attorney La Fleur can help you through this. Chances are good it will be an emotionally trying and difficult period in your life. You will need a lawyer that is compassionate yet aggressive.
Attorney Catherine La Fleur specializes in civil litigation, family law, alternative dispute resolution and appellate law. She is a Board Certified Civil Trial Specialist by the NBTA. She was the Wisconsin Bar’s Chair of the Litigation Board, served two terms on the Bar’s Board of Governors, and was an elected member of Wisconsin Judicial Council for six years. Highly recommended!!
Catherine did everything possible to ensure I knew what was happening and our settlement was fair. She always kept in touch even though the process took a little bit because of the other side holding it up. She is the first attorney I have ever hired and so very grateful and thankful for her!

Compassionate yet firm
I hired Catherine in my divorce case with custody issues. She supported me in fighting for custody and worked collaboratively with the GAL. Her perspective not only as a lawyer, but a formerly divorced mother was invaluable. She referred me to other professionals throughout my journey to help me sell my house, get therapy for my son, and financial advising.

Extremely Grateful!
Catherine La Fleur was an outstanding lawyer in my collaborative divorce! She was extremely knowledgeable about the process, she was very prompt in responding, and she was always honest with me (even if the information she was providing me with wasn't what I wanted to hear.) Catherine struck an incredible balance of being calm and friendly but also fierce. She encouraged me to rely on the collaborative team, but was also readily available when it came to the legal aspects of my case. If you are considering the collaborative route, I would highly encourage anyone to work with Catherine!

I couldn't have been in better hands.
Catherine's help was absolutely instrumental in getting the kind of resolve that I got from my divorce. Her advocacy for me was never wavering. This inherently left me with a feeling of safety and security in an otherwise unpredictable set of circumstances.
Throughout the process, Catherine shared all options with me in a straightforward and logical manner. Her genuine care and concern for me for me was evident from start to finish. She was subtle when needed and direct when necessary. I would highly recommend Catherine to those in need of a supportive, smart, critically thinking, strong attorney who knows the ins and outs of a divorce.

A Stellar Force
Catherine came to my home for a consultation not long after my car accident. She was so empathetic having been in a similar situation herself. Despite the fact that this case has gone on for years, she has always been patient and accessible to help me understand the sometimes intimidating legal process. She has never quit on me or encouraged me to throw in the towel for a quick settlement. I feel like I have such a strong advocate in her, standing up for my rights and what is due to me. Beyond just being a lawyer, she's been able to suggest good medical providers for second opinions, demonstrating her commitment to me as a person, not just as a client. She is an incredible listener, a fiery advocate and an overall stellar force in this field.

Lawyer, Advocate, Honest Counsel
I hired Catherine as my divorce attorney. She guided me to be the best advocate for myself and my daughter. She handled an extremely delicate situation with professionalism. Catherine was open, honest, and genuine. I highly recommend her! I have sole custody and sole placement of my minor child; all because of her wise guidance. It took time, communication, and money; but she's worth it. I wouldn't want any other lawyer advocating for me or my child. I also will seek her guidance for any future proceedings. She quickly responds with wise counsel. She will always keep you updated on the status of your case. If you need an advocate who is serious about helping you as you help yourself to a new stage in life: I assure you; Catherine will guide you to the new path in life that is best for your situation.

Excellent Litigator
Cathy is a meticulous, creative, excellent lawyer -- she knows how to take a deposition and get meaningful results, and she worked hard to get a fair settlement of our complex case. She is calm and efficient. I so value her pragmatic approach to settlement negotiation. As an attorney myself, there are lots of folks I could call on to represent my firm, but her litigation and legal teaching experience drew me to her. I recommend her without reservation.

Highly Recommended
In a very difficult court matter, Attorney La Fleur represented me with professionalism, tactfulness and compassion. Her actions and advice both before and after our court date enabled my case to be settled fairly and promptly when it could have dragged out indefinitely. I would highly recommend her and would not hesitate to have her represent me again.

Great Legal service- a pleasure to work with, and Catherine was tough in court-which is what I was looking for in her abilities.
