Professional Integrity and a Very Successful Outcome – Our Experience with Trevor Lippman
Our brother died unexpectedly and shortly afterwards his long-time caretaker and the caretaker’s attorney produced a will that left our brother’s entire estate to the caretaker. My sister and I were surprised that our brother would not discuss such a big change in his estate plan with us beforehand and after talking to some of our brother’s friends, we were told that this will was suspicious and we needed to retain legal counsel to look into it. Thank Goodness we took their advice and were very fortunate to choose Trevor Lippman of O’Neil Cannon as our representative. My sister and I cannot say enough to praise the hard work and professionalism that Trevor demonstrated. As this was the first time my sister and I had ever been involved in a legal action, we needed a lot of support and explanation. Trevor's communication skills are second to none and he answered all our questions and guided us through all the issues as they developed. Our case was very difficult and required much time and effort to build the evidence showing that this will was not our brother’s work. With this body of evidence, we then entered mediation with the other party and were very successful, obtaining 88% of the multi-million dollar estate. More importantly, Trevor and his colleagues with O’Neil Cannon helped us avoid a lifetime of regret in not knowing what our brother’s true intentions were. Through their dedication and hard work, they gave us the truth about what happened. For this we will be forever grateful and can give Trevor Lippman our highest recommendations.

Highly recommended attorney
At first it seemed like a typical estate dispute, but we knew that here was something wrong with the fact that my brother would change his will so dramatically without letting us know. We had never had to retain an attorney and had many questions. Trevor carefully explained every aspect of the case as we went along and helped us understand the legal system. Trevor began the investigation and through many twists, turns and complications was able to discover that our concerns were justified and we were able to retain a significant part of the estate. I cannot say enough about Trevor. He is smart and hardworking, he digs deep into the facts, pulling layer after layer together to tell the true story and he was able to remember everything in this complicated case. He kept us informed of his progress and gave us excellent advice. He is stellar in the courtroom. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Outstanding trusts and estates litigation attorney
I hired Mr. Lippman for a litigation matter for which I obtained a highly successful result due to Mr. Lippman's outstanding litigation skills and strategy. Mr. Lippman is a whip smart and extremely diligent, reliable, conscientious, thorough and hardworking associate attorney specializing in litigation concerning trusts and estates. Working in concert with partner Carl Holborn, Mr. Lippman was able to develop and successfully execute a multi-faceted negotiation, litigation and settlement strategy concerning a complex legacy family trust. Throughout the several-month pendency of the matter, Mr. Lippman provided superb legal advice and representation. I was routinely impressed with Mr. Lippman’s comprehensive grasp of the legal as well practical and personal issues at stake, and with his excellent judgment, good common sense and consistently comprehensive and thoroughly-considered legal and practical advice considering all aspects of the problem. Mr. Lippman has a unique ability to see the big picture and to keep on top of the myriad details at the same time. He also continually keeps the client well-informed on the progress of the matter and is consistently available for in-depth consultation. Finally, Mr. Lippman is an excellent writer and oral communicator, and is extremely personable and an absolute pleasure to work with on every level. He is always a very strong advocate for his client's best interests, while at the same time providing highly practical, realistic and honest advice that the client needs to hear. In sum, I provide the highest possible recommendation for Mr. Lippman for any litigation matter.

Brilliant, efficient, trustworthy, and reliable
Attention to all female AVVO users...this bright, young, smart Attorney at this exceptional law firm is just the lawyer you may need! Save this review as there are very few exceptional lawyers of his kind out there that “get us”! He’s even authored some articles already in his young career that are Outstanding for the rights of all of us as we age. Now, I’m not old by any means:-) but I’m definitely a seasoned C-level Executive with a variety of complex issues I deal with on a everyday basis and had been seaching for quite some time for exactly this sort of bright, professional Attorney who wouldn’t shun me if there was something simple and perhaps annoying to handle...Trevor is willing and effective from the get-go...I have been very impressed and that is a lot for me to say as I know and have worked with and for aome of the brightest lawyers in America. This firm made a great choice to bring Trevor into their great firm and I highly recommend him for especially any of you female Executives such as myself that need quick action, solid thoughtout advise and some Estate matters taken care of..do you have a Will or a Trust set up yet? No better time than now and no better, fair lawyer to help you!

Outstanding, AMBITIOUS, Personable, yet Incredibly Professional Attorney
Attorney Lippman proved to be an outstanding, AMBITIOUS, personable, yet incredibly professional attorney. He is the reason some justice was reclaimed after the discovery of an unfortunate situation following the death of a beloved family member. I had nothing more than a list of deceitful, odd actions, some recorded lies, and a suspicious newly filed last will that was set to redirect the entire family estate to the person who had been trusted as the personal representative and power of attorney. All of my concerns lead me to investigate as much as I possibly could and one of these searches produced a number to contact for a free attorney consultation about the various legal aspects of last wills, probate laws, and court proceedings. This call led me to Atty. Lippman and although I called at approximately 4:30 PM, he spoke with me for over 90 minutes. He patiently listened to me go through all of my details and reasons as to why I couldn't believe there was any kind of "truth" behind the new situation. Many of my reasons could be backed as truth by other acquaintances of the deceased because I had done a lot of homework in my own mad pursuit for justice. And yet, all of my evidence would be worthless without an ability to press these issues in the court of law. I had also consulted with other knowledgeable parties inside my own family and circle of friends. These consults were pessimistic about my ability to do anything to change what had happened. They all felt there nothing to be done because final wills are meant to be respected. Even after my long consultation, I re-consulted with the other contacts, who advised me to simply wait until the issue was filed in probate court. Days later, I emailed Atty. Lippman to inform him of what I had been advised to do. And yet, to Mr. Lippman's credit, he had taken proactive steps to investigate my claims and shortly after receiving my email, he contacted me to inform me there was nothing moving this issue towards court proceedings. Additionally, he stated that if even a fraction of what I had disclosed to him was true, there was a need for me to take action immediately. With this known, we officially retained him as our attorney. From there, he and I shared many emails and many phone calls and he drafted up an official statement outlining the numerous civil charges we intended to press on the POA/PR should she not make contact with our attorney by a specific deadline. And yet, Lippman addressed the reality that pressing charges and going through court proceedings in any city far from home, could become quite costly. For these reasons, he came to a well-estimated amount to add as an offer for a possible out-of-court settlement. Of course, the idea of releasing someone from possible public justice after these incredibly hurtful, despicable, and disrespectful actions was difficult for me to accept. Yet, Lippman employed his intelligence, patience, and vast knowledge of the law and legal proceedings in order to keep me calm and rational so we could see this case through. This is where I must give him mad credit for his communication abilities, as well as his manner to think rationally and keep me focused on the best possible outcome. Without a doubt, I'd recommend Attorney Lippman! He salvaged what he could for me and my family in the most efficient and intelligent manner. He was always very detailed, knowledgeable, quick to respond to emails or phone calls, and yet still able to make me feel comfortable in our conversations. I've told him many times that I most definitely feel there was some kind of well-fated, good fortune behind Google producing his phone number for me and him coming into the situation exactly when he did. I have SO MUCH GRATITUDE and SO MUCH APPRECIATION for this young man!!

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter
"I worked with Trevor on a case where our respective clients had very different opinions on what had happened in the case. When we had our first substantive discussion, he had clearly been very thorough in his research and the facts were on his side. Despite that, he presented his case calmly, without being condescending and without making threats. This allowed us to have a frank and productive conversation about the merits of the case without having the situation degrade into positional arguing as so often happens, which would have only cost both of our clients more money without changing the end result."
