Richard H. Hart

Richard Hart has been practicing law for more than 35 years. He founded Hart Law Office in Milwaukee in 1977 and has faithfully served the community ever since. He has worked as a pro bono attorney for the Milwaukee Bar Association since 1988.

Richard helps clients with a wide range of legal matters, including: Family law Personal injury Workers’ compensation Real estate Business law Criminal law Wills and probate Litigation He also provides general legal advice and has the ability to handle appellate court cases.

Awards and noteworthy accomplishments Richard is AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review RatedSM by Martindale-Hubbell® and listed in Super Lawyers, the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers™, the National Register of Who’s Who in Executives and Professionals for 2001 and the National Register of Who’s Who in Executives and Professionals for 2002. He organizes and moderates the Milwaukee County Family Court Guardian ad Litem Annual Training Seminars and chairs the Milwaukee County Family Court Bench/Bar Committee.

Education information and admissions Richard received a B.S. in criminal justice from Michigan State University in 1974, and a J.D. from Marquette University Law School in 1977. Since then, he has been admitted to practice law in: Wisconsin Michigan U.S. Court of Appeals, 7th Circuit U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Wisconsin U.S. District Court, Western District of Wisconsin U.S. District Court, Western District of Michigan U.S. Supreme Court Personal information Richard served for many years as the Athletic Director of the Mother of Good Counsel Athletic Association, an organization for which he does pro bono work.

Richard also belongs to the Sherman Park Community Association and is well known and recognized for his volunteer activities and service to the community. Due to his strong presence in the community, the city of Milwaukee, Milwaukee County and the State of Wisconsin Governor's Office created a "Richard H. Hart Day" in his honor. - See more at: #
