I don't take every case. I try to take cases where there is evidence of innocence and/or a political reason that someone is being picked on by the Government. I focus all of my time and energy on criminal defense. I am influenced by being a graduate of Gerry Spence's highly prestigious Trial Lawyers College. At this school in Wyoming I learned how to speak the truth to succeed for clients. In addition to my law degree from UW Madison, I have two masters degrees: in counseling and political studies. In law school I won the celebrated Sigman award for "scholarship, character, and contribution to the community." I am proud of having an outstanding trial record and being known for my caring attitude towards clients.
I charge a flat fee for all of my services. I do this so that you and I can both focus on what needs to be done to win your case without worrying about the hours involved. When appropriate, I actually look forward to going to trial. Being charged with a crime can be a frightening and humiliating experience, but I know that every person has done amazing things in their life and has the potential to do even better. I take very seriously my opportunity to help you so that you can make the most of your life.

Great Lawyer
I've had other lawyers before and nobody compares. Attorney Brittain didn't tell me to take a deal because I would lose. Instead, he listened to me and told me we should fight and go to trial. He did a psycho-drama with me and it was amazing. After the psycho-drama, I understood how he was going ...
"I endorse this lawyer's work. I have never in my life met a more compassionate, caring, ethical lawyer than Eric. it is my great privilege to introduce Eric Brittain as my friend, my mentor and most of all,, one of the best lawyers in Wisconsin, I've ever know."
"I endorse this lawyer's work. Full disclosure: I am Eric's brother-in-law. That means I love him for reasons on beyond his legal advocacy. But it also means that I know how hard he works for every client. If you want a lawyer who is in it to make money as fast as he can and then get out to the golf course, Eric is not your guy. If you want someone who will listen carefully to your side of the story, who will make your cause his own, and who will go to the mat for you, then you want Eric. He loves his work and will not back down when your life, your rights, your liberty and your dignity are on the line."
"Eric defines "zealous" advocacy. He stands up for his clients in the face of injustice, and will put his own career on the line when he knows he and his client are in the right. Do not hesitate to seek out Eric when you have a tough legal problem."
"Eric is an excellent lawyer that I highly endorse and call if I have questions regarding a criminal case. Eric is a graduate of the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyer's College and a highly skilled advocate."
