People don’t generally have great things to say about attorneys until they need one. At some the most difficult times in my divorce and custody struggles Earlean was voice reason and calm when I thought the worse was coming. I am beyond a super needy client. I send a ton of emails and call every day if possible. I am highly detailed and almost OCD when it comes to paper work and evidence gathering. Attorney Laster and her assistant understood my needs and concerns and over time made me feel like they were family. I felt ...that they went thru my divorce with me. My divorce was super dragged out and stressful but Attorney Laster was up to the task and fought along side of me, and for me the entire time. She helped me keep a cool head and helped me do everything the right way.

I was in a panic state upon hiring this lawyer and feel it was a mistake and an expensive lesson learned. We had no idea what we were up against when our only son was taking into custody. Our initial thought was to practice tough love but through prayer and spiritual advice we were reminded that he was a young black man 20 years old that the system will eat him up and throw the keys away. Found this to... be so true as we sat in a courtroom where the Asst. DA promised that she will see to him getting 80 years ` I almost passed out… Left the courtroom in disbelief feeling Helpless. Late evening my husband reached out to Atty Earlean Laster who answered her office phone. After speaking briefly, she told my husband that she was going to leave her office and go over to the jail to meet with our son and call us back after the visit that day. She called back to say that she believed our son’s story and would represent him. She was Tough and Composed Under Fire, Compassionate, Professional and Relentless. Attorney Laster was very understanding and empathetic to our family's feelings and emotions...this was a very trying and emotional time for all of us... We are so appreciative of her getting our son back home to us. He did not go to prison and received a sentence of three years’ probation. We couldn’t have been blessed with a better defense lawyer… She is an exceptional Attorney, very well prepared, armed with facts and references to help defend her client. Would we recommend Attorney Earlean Laster to anyone needing a defense attorney? Without a doubt, Absolutely!!!
