I’ve been working with attorney laster for over 10yrs. She has represented me multiple times for two divorce cases and child support. Attorney Laster represented me in a criminal matter, where I was charged with a Felony, based on her experience and relationship with the District Attorney she was able to present positive information about my character and the District Attorney agreed to drop my case down to a ticket. I spoke to se...veral attorneys who told me I did not have a chance. I honestly believe if I did not hire Attorney Laster I would be a convicted felon right now. We had no idea what we were up against when our only son was taking into custody. Our initial thought was to practice tough love but through prayer and spiritual advice we were reminded that he was a young black man 20 years old that the system will eat him up and throw the keys away. Found this to... be so true as we sat in a courtroom where the Asst. DA promised that she will see to him getting 80 years ` I almost passed out… Left the courtroom in disbelief feeling Helpless. Late evening my husband reached out to Atty Earlean Laster who answered her office phone. After speaking briefly, she told my husband that she was going to leave her office and go over to the jail to meet with our son and call us back after the visit that day. She called back to say that she believed our son’s story and would represent him. She was Tough and Composed Under Fire, Compassionate, Professional and Relentless. She didn't let up and my Helplessness quickly disappeared with her belief and determination. Attorney Laster was very understanding and empathetic to our family's feelings and emotions...this was a very trying and emotional time for all of us... We are so appreciative of her getting our son back home to us. He did not go to prison and received a sentence of three years’ probation. We couldn’t have been blessed with a better defense lawyer… She is an exceptional Attorney, very well prepared, armed with facts and references to help defend her client. Would we recommend Attorney Earlean Laster to anyone needing a defense attorney? Without a doubt, Absolutely!!!
