Joseph Francis Fischer

Attorney Fischer handled my case in a professional and fast manner. I never doubted that he had my case under complete control as he communicated the legal nature in a way my family and I could easily understand. Fischer is clearly knowledgeable and skillful in his practice but my experience was more... than that. I can only assume that the poor reviews left by few others on here came from clients of his which, in one way or another did not understand their case or what it is an attorney is at liberty to do for them. I would not trust anyone else to handle any future legal needs of myself or my family.

As a person, Atty Fischer is very likable. As a family law Atty he is terrible, at least from my experience. He presented himself well when I first met him, but it wasn't long after I hired him that I regretted it. Too many times he would show up for court unprepared. Several times in court I had ...to supply documents/info because he didn't have them or he had forgotten the details of a certain issue. So as his client I found that I always had to be prepared in case he wasn't. I caught errors in the opposing sides math when calculating monetary settlements during a hearing, mistakes that went right over Atty Fischer's head, one to the tune of several thousand dollars! He was awful at returning my phone calls or emails. Opposing attornies became frustrated with him because he didn't respond in a timely manner, if at all. I caught him being dishonest on several occasions. I would NEVER hire him for anything, ever again. I can NOT advise you to hire Atty Fischer. Maybe he'd be ok in a simple and short case. But there is a strong chance you will regret it in the end.

I understand with lawyers you get the good or the bad, depending on your situation. You also take in consideration why you need them... With hiring Joe fisher I got more than a lawyer. The guy is very smart in what he does and pays attention to detail. Some attorneys are as good as their clients but ...I wouldn't consider hiring anyone else but him. When he is by your side in court that nervous feeling you have in your stomach immediately goes away. But that's what I expect from a Marquette Grad.

Looks beyond the initial case to the deeper issues at hand- during my divorce and family legal needs. Since then I have consulted and used his legal services for a multitude of other legal consultations. He has been very effective at working with opposing attorneys, yet clearly has supported my be...st interests - even when my own understanding of the issues was not as clear as his expertise. Would never go to anyone else for my legal needs. I trust him implicitly with my best interests and my future legal and family planning needs.
