To be determined

I had a bad experience with this Attorney, in which my case was won successfully but it's been 4 months now and I have yet received my portion of the settlement. She gives lots of excuses and she does not return my phone calls

Replied last March 22, 2021

This client received his award in far less time and his case was successfully resolved.

Janet is Great

Janet feels very strongly that no one should have to face discrimination at work. Janet cares a lot about her mission and her clients. She has the knowledge and experience to help people who are facing discrimination.

Passionate advocate

From the first meeting, I could tell that Janet has a vast level of experience in employment law and is so passionate about employee rights. You can tell that she has walked in my shoes and can relate on a personal and professional level. She also is very good at finding the right legal precedence th...at fits with the specifics of a case. After hearing my plight, she didn't go right to the $$$$. She makes sure that there is a case but also let me know the difficult road ahead. Janet is a realist and not a "typical attorney" who is only in this profession for the money. I highly respect her opinion and that she was not high pressure in trying to "close the sale." She told me to go think about it and make sure the journey ahead was clear and let me decide if I wanted to move ahead. Thanks Janet for caring.

FIGHTS FOR WHAT'S RIGHT

Janet fights for what's right and keeps on fighting for you. She really cares about her clients. Although my case is still ongoing I have no doubt that she will prevail and getting me everything that I deserve.

Top Notch Employment Law Attorney

My employer refused to see reason and refused to move in their position. Janet personally handled my case and we went to court and won easily.

Relationship: Worked for lawyer

"I worked with Janet for 2 ½ years at Heins Law Office. Over the course of my time there, I found Janet to be extremely knowledgeable about a wide variety of employment laws and forums, particularly federal court. Few firms are willing to “raise the stakes” and take a case through the federal court process, but Janet takes pride in doing so. As she tells her clients, she is willing to take cases “to the mat.” Her passion for employee rights is evident and her willingness to wear her heart on her sleeve is refreshing. I would recommend Janet and wish her firm well."
