Took a year to complete my bankruptcy. Receptionist kept saying paperwork was next,...time went on. Also had to fill a huge packet out ourselves with all the info of affairs. Don't really know what she had to do on her end that took so long after going through all that. Barbara was hard to get a hol...d of. Did not direct us what we should do next, left in the dark. Finally, the court date came and...... she did not show up. We were not represented at all. Since it took a year to complete, it was toward the end of the year and apparently after so long the magistrate has the option to request money back from you to pay a percentage back to creditors. We had to pay $5500. It was a total nightmare. I would advise paying a little more $ and getting a reliable, good lawyer. She was a total joke. Could have cared less about our case. Beware.
