Jeff is not going to fight for you. I had to keep from being railroaded by him and the county attorney. It was obvious they were making deals behind closed doors. At one point I arrived at the courthouse 15 minutes prior to my scheduled hearing and I spotted him walking to his vehicle. I caught up wi...th him and he said "it was taken care of, stop by my office this week". I asked what the plea bargain was and he couldn't remember or wouldn't say. He told me I could go home. I ended up checking in with the clerk of court just to have a record of my attendance. The next hearing was even worse. Again, i felt the need to check in with the clerk of court in order to protect myself from both Jeff and the county attorney. We actually had 5 minutes to talk. He tried talking me into something I didn't want at all. I denied him then my case got dismissed. I would run from this attorney or be prepared to be taken for a ride.

Hired Jeff for two separate issues. He cashed the checks for retainer fees and did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!! To speak with him regarding the jobs he was hired to do I had to 'pop' into the office unannounced because he failed to return calls, failed to file originating paperwork, failed to respond to ...most emails and absolutely failed to represent on either issue. The responses I did receive via email were false promises of job performance that he repeatedly didn't do. DO NOT RECOMMEND! It is my belief that Jeff Smith is a THIEF/CROOK/SCAM and should not be allowed to call himself a professional nor an attorney.
