Recommend!!

I brought Eric on to handle my daughter's OWI case and he handled everything seamlessly and efficiently. And his response to calls, texts and emails was immediate every time, which I considered important when going through something like this. I highly recommend Eric Tindal!

Job well done

Eric got my first offense owi plead to a public intoxication, not much else needs to be said. Job well done. Office staff is just as helpful. Highly recommended.

Successful defense of speeding ticket

I hired Eric to fight a speeding ticket for my 19 year old daughter who is a full-time college student and also working part-time. She was facing a mandatory 60+ day license suspension. He was able to find an expert witness to testify at trial as to the margin of error for police radar guns and was... successful in getting the speeding violation reduced to eliminate the mandatory suspension. He did a great job at trial. I would highly recommend him.

Professional misconduct

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2020.

Reprimand issued in IA, 2020

updated on 03/24/2021

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Eric’s comment:

“These two cases are related in that both involve my failure to timely file briefs. The case can be found at this link: https://www.iowacourts.gov/iowa-courts/supreme-court/supreme-court-oral-argument-schedule/case/20-0005. I have learned from this experience and modified my practice accordingly. This did not involve any form of dishonesty and the court makes clear I am a well qualified trial lawyer.”
